Yes. d2w™ oxo-biodegradable products are FDA approved.
The additives are suitable for direct food-contact, in compliance with EU Directive 2002/72 as amended and US FDA Code of Federal Regulations Chapter 21. Independent foodcontact regularity assessments of d2w® have been undertaken by Smithers/RAPRA.
Also, for more than 3 years d2w®products have been used by major retailers for direct food-contact.
To comply with differing national food-contact regulations and end-use requirements, Symphony market a range of d2w™ formulations containing additives approved for food-contact use. These formulations include additives listed in European Directive 2002/72/EC, Plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs
